[CuAcad14] The availability of copper – a perspective from science

Moving towards a net-zero future could fundamentally alter future copper cycles through two drivers—the implementation of decarbonization technologies and the imposition of an emissions budget on production activities. The question thus arises as to how the global copper cycle will change in the net-zero future, and what interventions are needed to reconcile climate change mitigation with sustainable copper use. This webinar aims to provide a deeper understanding of copper availability for the energy transition from multiple perspectives, including future demand, environmental impacts, and resource governance.
