Zero-Emission Buildings Academy

The Zero-Emission Buildings Academy promotes the transition to a zero-emission building stock. It’s a partnership between the European Copper Institute (ECI) the Building Performance Institute Europe (BPIE) and the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP). The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) aims to achieve a Zero Emission Building stock by 2050. The transition of the building stock and the implementation of the necessary renovation wave require actions at all levels of the political governance and of the value chain. Knowledge sharing is key to accelerate the transition. The Zero-Emission Buildings Academy focusses on the importance of buildings for the energy transition and on various aspects such as energy efficiency, electrification, renewable, smartness and life cycle. Each webinar, organised on a regular basis, invites one or more expert to deep dive on one aspect and is followed by a moderated discussion with the audience.
